Thanks for your interest in our Water Education Program designed to supplement your current classroom curriculum. The program consists of lessons delivered online and Water Efficiency Kits for families of participating students.
Program Goals:
- To provide Teachers with content that enriches current curriculum at NO COST
- To educate our youth about the importance of water
- To provide families the opportunity to save water through Efficiency Kits
- To encourage families to install the savings products and complete the questionnaire
This program is funded by the City of Delray Beach and provided to select educators at NO COST.
More Information
What: This program is a supplement to your existing curriculum and designed to teach students about water and why it should be used, wisely and responsibly. All lessons incorporate technology so it is appealing and engaging to students. Teachers will receive access to our online portal which contains classroom activities, videos and lessons, a classroom set of printed materials, and each student’s family will receive a Water Efficiency Kit. The kit contains products that will help families save water at home and it is provided by the City of Delray Beach at NO COST to the school or families.
Who: 5th grade teacher, students and their parents at schools served by the City of Delray Beach.
Grant: Teachers that participate in the program and get 75% of their students to complete the online questionnaire.
When: Now! This is not an unlimited opportunity. Materials are available on a first come first served basis.
Cost: Absolutely Free! The only thing we ask is that you encourage your students to install the products in the kit and complete the online questionnaire.
How: to enroll just click on the sign-up button below and complete the enrollment page. Materials will arrive at your classroom on or before the date you choose!
